Youth Committee
JAXICS Youth Committee is involved in various community acitivities throughout the year for which each youth volunteer is awarded community service hours.
Any child age 5 to 18 years can volunteer with ICS Youth Committee however any volunteer age 5 to 12 must be accompanied by an adult volunteer.
You do not have to be an ICS member to volunteer except at ICS Diwali event.
Being an ICS member has its own perks.ICS member youth volunteers are:
- Given priority for available volunteer oppourtinities
- Can be apply for Youth Committee Core Leadership Positions – President, Vice-President, Secratary and Communications Director.
- Based on Number of Hours Volunteered in each year they can become eligible to receive “The President’s Volunteer Service Award” for that year.
