2023 ICS YOUTH COMMITTEE MEMBERS
The ICS Youth Committee is a Very Active and Integral part of the Indian Cultural Society of Jacksonville.
The objective of the ICS Youth Committee or ICS YC as its fondly called is to introduce the younger generation of Indians to the Indian culture and teach through immersion.
We invite and encourage the younger generations to become active members of the 2022 ICS Youth Committee.
Registration starts - January18th,2023
LAST DATE for submitting your registration is March 29th, 2023.
Following are the advantage of joining youth committee for your children:
o Get volunteer hours
o Learn teamwork and make more friends
o It is platform where your children can come forward and show their talent
Following are some the guidelines you as a parent as well as youth committee member should be aware of:

- You need to be a 2023 ICS member for your child to participate in Youth Committee.
- To get proper volunteer hours each child will need to sign in and sign out when they come to any meeting or events. There will be a signing sheet at every meeting and event.
- The hours will be approved based on the completion of the task or responsibility assigned to you by Youth Committee leadership.
- The communications between Youth Committee team members happens in a "WhatsApp" group that each Youth Committee member will be part of.
- It is not only important to do well on the tasks/duties assigned but also how well you carry them out and work with others.
- Be punctual, courteous to others, share new ideas and have fun
- The volunteer hours will be tracked by the Youth Committee officers and the Youth Committee Mentor throughout the year.
